 A Historical Look at Checks
Checks have always been a major player in the financial industry, regarded as one of the common ways of trade in currency. In 352 B.C., at first, Romans started using checks, but the idea did not come up, and in the early 1500s, people in Holland began checks in Amsterdam. The first check was used in the United States in 1681 and the first printed check set was produced by a British banker in 1762. The American Federal Reserve System was established in 1913 and in 1958 magnetic ink characters were developed and implemented for inspections. Please learn the history of inspections.
